Upgrade to Pro
To unlock advanced features and take your product filtering experience to the next level, upgrade to the pro version. This documentation will guide you through the process of upgrading to the Pro version.
Step-by-Step Upgrade Process
- Purchase the Pro License:
- Visit the plugin page and click on the Buy Now button.
- Follow the prompts to complete the payment process securely.
- Download the Pro Version:
- After purchasing the Pro license, you will receive an email containing the download link for “WCAPF – WooCommerce Ajax Product Filter Pro”.
- Click on the link to download the Pro version plugin file (a .zip file).
- Backup Your Website (Recommended):
- Before proceeding with any plugin upgrade, it is best practice to back up your entire website, including the database and files. This ensures that you can restore your website in case of any unforeseen issues.
- Deactivate and Delete the Current Pro Version (if installed):
- If you already have an older version of WCAPF – WooCommerce Ajax Product Filter Pro installed, go to your WordPress dashboard.
- Navigate to Plugins > Installed Plugins.
- Locate the “WCAPF – WooCommerce Ajax Product Filter Pro” plugin.
- Deactivate and then delete the plugin.
- Install the Pro Version:
- In your WordPress dashboard, navigate to Plugins > Add New.
- Click on the Upload Plugin button at the top.
- Choose the .zip file you downloaded in step 2, and click Install Now.
- After installation, click Activate Plugin to activate WCAPF Pro.
- Enter Your License Key:
- Go to WCAPF in your WordPress dashboard.
- Enter the Pro license key you received in the email after purchasing.
- Click Activate License to validate your license.
- Verify the Upgrade:
- Once the Pro version is activated and licensed, navigate to the WCAPF settings page to confirm that you are now running the Pro version.
- If successful, you will have access to the enhanced features and functionalities of the Pro version.
